Several Pike County students escaped injury Friday when a school bus crashed into a residential lot in the Stone Coal community.
Coal Run Village Police Officer Anthony Maggard told the
News-Express that the driver of the bus, David Larocco, stated that
another vehicle was in his path and he swerved to avoid colliding with
the vehicle, reported to have been a silver car, and ran over an
embankment into a residential yard. The car was not at the scene of the
wreck, Maggard said.
