School bus crash closes Lake Worth Rd & 57th Ave - WPEC-TV CBS12 News :: News - Top Stories
GREENACRES, Fla.-- Police, fire rescue are on the scene of school bus
accident. The crash happened at Lake Worth Road and 57th Avenue around
8:15am.
Palm Beach County School Districts reports that the
school bus was making a turn at the intersection when it collided with
an SUV. We're being told the bus was headed to Diamond View or Heritage
Elementary when the accident happened.
Dispatch says the eastbound lane of Lake Worth Road is closed at 57th Avenue due to the investigation.
One female student was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
