CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The driver of a pickup truck is dead after his truck slammed into the rear of a school bus in Corpus Christi.
A Corpus Christi police spokesman says the crash happened about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Flour Bluff section of southeastern Corpus Christi when the truck knifed beneath the bus.
Flour Bluff school district spokeswoman Lynn Kaylor tells the Corpus Christi Caller-Times that none of the 12 young students aboard the bus, nor the driver, were injured.
Police haven't released the name of the man killed.
