Udupi: In a serious accident between a KSRTC bus and a private was
killed and 11 others were injured when the bus collided head-on with a
private bus in Kolnad near Mulky on Saturday. The deceased was
identified as Anand B. Kulkarni (38), who was driving the KSRTC bus.
According to the Mulki police said , the KSRTC bus was on its way to
Hubli when the accident occurred. The KSRTC reportedly tired to overtake
a vehicle near Kolnad when an incoming private bus collided with it.
Kulkarni died on way to hospital while the private bus driver, Abdul
Sami, and 10 others sustained injuries. The have been admitted in a
private hospital.
