Flint Police Seeking Information in Aggravated Assault of MTA Bus Driver


The Flint Police Department is seeking public help in the aggravated assault of an MTA bus driver.

The Flint Police Department Detective Bureau says an MTA bus driver was punched in the face while at a bus stop at M.L. King Ave and 9th Avenue. The two individual were upset because one had to pay the bus fare. The suspects are described as in their late teens and African American. One was wearing a red hoodie with Cincinnati Bearcats on the front, while the other was wearing a gray hoodie.

A third suspect has been arrested for acting in concert with the other two individuals by recording the assault on a cell phone.

The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information on the identity of the two suspects is asked to contact Sgt. Karl Petrich of the Flint Police Department at (810) 237-6912 or the Michigan State Police.
