Nigeria bus not attacked by fans - News - Kick Off
Super Eagles media officer, Ben Alaiya told News Agency of Nigeria
(NAN) that the bus conveying the Nigerian players to their hotel on
Sunday after inflicting a 3-1 defeat on hosts South Africa was never attacked by the home fans.
Alaiya disclosed that rather than show hostility, the South African fans have been very hospitable.
"In fact, in spite of defeating their team, the Bafana Bafana, the
South African fans cheered us when we were leaving the stadium," Alaiya
informed.
"They waved at us and greeted us warmly. Nobody attacked our bus.
South Africans have been wonderful hosts and we appreciate their
hospitality."
