Cop thwarts QC bus robbery, fatally shoots suspect | News | GMA News Online
An attempt by a pair of armed robbers to victimize the passengers of a
bus in Quezon City was thwarted by a police officer before dawn Sunday.
According
to the investigation, the suspects declared a holdup just as the bus
was crossing the corner of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue and Quezon
Avenue.
PO1 Christian Bautista of the Malabon City police, who was also a bus passenger, then shot and killed one of the suspects just as a passenger was about to be stabbed, radio dzBB reported.
The police are now tracking the second suspect, who managed to flee. — DVM, GMA News
