Teen shoots school bus with BB gun

NICEVILLE — A 15-year-old was arrested after he was accused of shooting at a school bus.

Niceville Police were called to the area of Blue Pine Road and Range Road when the bus driver heard “metal pellets” hit the side of the bus after seeing a teenager take a “shooters stance,” according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s report.

The bus driver was able to identify the suspected shooter and when deputies found him, he had a BB gun.

He told the deputies, “We shot at a school bus,” but one of the deputies told him to stop talking until he’d been read his rights.

The teen declined to talk again after that.
