The Brooklyn bus driver who fatally stabbed a crazed passenger after being knifed in the back was released yesterday from the hospital.

"We're healing," Clinton Phillip's wife, Monique, said outside the couple's Queens home last night. "I'm glad he's alive.

"He's kind of sore," she added. "But he's doing all right. He's trying to rest himself and finally get over this."

Passenger Christopher Bartley, 24, knifed Phillip in the back Sunday aboard the B60 bus after complaining that the driver was going too slow, cops said.

During a struggle, Phillip grabbed the 5-inch serrated knife and stabbed Bartley in the heart. No charges have been filed against the driver, but Brooklyn prosecutors are conducting a routine investigation.
