Campbellford man concerned about bus driver

The driver of a refrigeration truck involved in an accident with a school bus south of Campbellford has been transferred to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.

The man, whose name hasn’t been released, was originally taken to Campbellford Memorial Hospital after Monday’s crash on County Road 30, but was sent on to Toronto yesterday with a serious leg injury.

Meanwhile, the father of a child who usually rides that bus, Tim Miller, says there have been issues with the bus driver, such as speeding, missing bus stops, text messaging and wearing a hoodie, which could obstruct her vision. He says he complained to the bus company four times in the past and says the agency that oversees busing is investigating.
