PORTLAND – A total of 32 people have died in incidents involving TriMet buses since 1988, including Saturday’s incident.

- 10/13/1988: Bus collides with vehicle; 1 person killed
- 12/26/1989: Bus hits two pedestrians who die after crash
- 1/14/1990: Bus collides head-on with another vehicle; 1 person killed
- 12/2/1990: Bus hits pedestrian who dies after crash
- Unknown date: Bus collides with another vehicle; 1 person killed
- 6/17/1991: Bus hits pedestrian while turning; pedestrian dies after crash

- 6/13/1994: Child rides bike into side of bus; child dies after crash

- 12/26/2006: Car coming from opposite direction crashes into bus; 1 person killed
- 2/11/2008: Bus and bicycle collide; bicyclist dies after crash
- 8/2009: 2009, person fell under the back wheel of the bus and died 18 days later on September 15
- 4/24/2010: Bus runs over 5 pedestrians; 2 women killed, 1 person in critical condition, two others suffer minor injuries
