6 killed, dozens injured in Yemen bus accident: report

At least six passengers were killed, up to 30 others were injured when their bus en route the capital Sanaa to province of al-Hodaida, skidded off a mountainous road and overturned Friday afternoon, state media reported.
The accident occurred when a single-decker bus skidded off a high mountainous road at Bani Mansour area of al-Haima district, west of the capital, and was overturned to the bottom of the mountain, state-run 26sep.net said, Xinhua reported.
"The six persons were confirmed killed on the spot, while the other injured passengers were rushed to Matna Hospital near Sanaa, " said the portal.
The rescue operation faced difficulties to reach the area where the accident took place due to rough roads.
There were no available reports on the updated death toll as the injured passengers were now undergoing treatment.
