Six people were rushed to the hospital after a car crashed into the rear of a Metro bus early this morning in southwest Houston.
The incident occurred in the 8900 block of Bellaire near South Gessner about 7 a.m., officials said.
Officials with the Metropolitan Transit Authority said five passengers on the bus and a person in the car were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Their injuries and conditions are unknown.
The bus was stopped when the car slammed into the rear of it, Metro officials said.
No other information immediately was available.
